Jesuseaters

On  May 29, 2012, a man shot dead by police as he ate the face of another man may have been under the influence of a potent LSD-like drug called bath salts, investigators believe.

An eyewitness said that Eugene was "like a zombie", tearing off almost all of 65-year-old Ronald Poppo's face and growling like a wild animal at an officer who shot him.

A similar incident happened in China recently.

I don’t know how the website for the twice-weekly student newspaper of the University of Missouri at Columbia became http://www.themaneater.com/.

The Hall & Oates music video opens with a woman (Aleksandra Duncan) walking down a red staircase, and the band playing in a dimly lit studio with shafts of light projecting down on them. The band members step in and out of the light for their lip sync. A young woman in a short party dress is shown in fade-in and fade-out shots, along with a black jaguar, hence the song line "The woman is wild, a she-cat tamed by the purr of a Jaguar." The song refrain is "Whoa, oh here she comes; watch out boy, she'll chew you up; whoa, oh here she comes, she's a maneater.”

WARNING: Don’t be scared when reading the verses below, you folks!

Our Lord Jesus said, “Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you (οὐκ ἔχετε ζωὴν ἐν ἑαυτοῖς).”(John 6:53)

By this saying, Jesus wants all of us to be  'Jesuseaters'.

How can we eat His flesh and drink His blood?  Like a zombie? Absolutely not.

Here is a Biblical way to show how to eat His Body and drink His Blood in Luke 22;

17 After taking the cup, he gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among you.

18 For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

19 And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.

20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Let’s hear from the Apostle Paul regarding this business,

23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread,

24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.

25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.

26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes.” (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

If He said, “Do this in rememberance of Me,” let’s do it. Amen.
