The following statement was retrieved and partially quoted from the official website of World Mission Society Church of God.

/…./  According to the Bible only second coming Christ can bring us salvation but the only way for us to receive salvation is by celebrating Passover, then true second coming Christ must bring Passover but the one that brought Passover to the World Mission Society Church of God was Christ Ahnsahnghong therefore Christ Ahnsahnghong is true second coming Christ and God Almighty. /…./

/…./  The Bible testifies that the Holy Spirit is God Ahnsahnghong, and that the Bride is Jerusalem Mother. Let us accept God Ahnsahnghong, the Holy Spirit, and Jerusalem Mother, the Bride, who give us the water of life in these last days, so that we can enter the kingdom of heaven./…./

/…./ Thank you Heavenly Father for your second coming to bring salvation and for allowing us to know your new name! The name by which we can be saved-Christ Ahnsahnghong! /…./

The World Mission Society Church of God (Korean: 하나님의교회 세계복음선교협회) was founded by Ahn Sahng-hong (안상홍) in 1964. The church believes that he is the second coming of Christ because of his fulfillment of prophecies. Ahn Sahng-Hong, died in 1985 leaving the leadership of the church to his spiritual wife, Zahng Gil-Jah(장길자), known in the church as "the Heavenly Mother", and the General Pastor is Kim Joo-Cheol. Its headquarters are located in Bundang, Sungnam City, Kyunggi Province, roughly an hour away from Seoul. Zahng is also chairperson of the New Life Welfare Foundation (새생명복지회) and of the International We Love You Foundation (국제위러브유운동).

The church believes that Zahng Gil-Jah is "God the Mother," who they believe is referred to in the Bible as the New Jerusalem Mother (Gal 4:26), and that Ahn Sahng-Hong is God the Father. The church regards the earthly family system as a copy and shadow of the heavenly family system (Heb 8:5), consisting of a Heavenly Father, Heavenly Mother, and the spiritual brothers and sisters (humans). The Church claims to have established approximately 400 branch churches in Korea and 1,900 churches in 150 countries totaling over 1.6 million members as of April. 2011.[13] The Church has more than 400 branch churches in Korea and 2,200 churches in 150 countries totaling over 1.75 million members as of April 2012.

When I browsed on websites, I happened to read the writing above and I was shocked at the fact that this church claims to have more than 400 branch churches in Korea and 2,200 churches in 150 countries totaling over 1.75 million members as of April 2012.

At the same time, the warning of our Lord when He gave the signs of the end of the age flashed through my mind, which is recorded in Matthew 24:24-26;

“For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect - if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time.

 So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.”

Lord Jesus Himself makes it so clear in His warnings of this. That’s why we need to weigh everything that is said.

So how are we to make sure we are not deceived by false prophets? Thankfully, God is not a God of confusion. There are four simple ways to tell true from false:

If the prophet or prophetess

1. …has prophesies that aren’t 100 percent accurate 100 percent of the time (or are manipulated to come “true”) = False.

2. …points to any “Jesus” other than the biblical one = False.

3. …uses supernatural or occultist techniques used in his or her prophecy = False.

4. …has a rebellious, unrepentant spirit = False.

All FOUR of these tests should be applied, as many false prophets can pass two or three of them. If he or she fails at any one of these, = FALSE.

Do you now take the Lord’s warnings seriously enough? Then pay attention to Apostle Paul’s warning also in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4;

“Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for [that day will not come] until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.”

Lord Jesus, protect us and our children from the deceiving spirits who work inside the false prophets and Christs doomed to eternal judgment and destruction! Amen.
