When I see this image of globular stars in a constellation, I am fascinated by the dazzle of stars in such a great luminosity and density spanning many light years between them. I named it “Jewelry Box in the space( in Korean,우주의 보석 상자).”
We read in, Genesis 1:16-19;
God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.
That’s part of God’s creation in the space. And Jesus, the Creator of all things saw that it was good. I see it that it’s so beautiful and praise Him for His Greatness and Immeasurability.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)
Why did God make everything so beautiful in the universe?
- To set our hearts to long for eternity
- To let us say, “it’s immeasurable of what He has done as Alpha and Omega”
Lord Jesus, we believe all things in the universe are made through You from John 1:3;
“Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”
You also said in John 10:29;
“My Father, Who has given them to Me, is Greater than all; no one can snatch them out of My Father's Hand.”
