Today’s question is: “What does it mean when we say Jesus is the Lord?”

The simplest answer is: “I will do whatever You say to me, Lord Jesus.”

We read in, Luke 6:46;

"So why do you keep calling me 'Lord, Lord!' when you don't do what I say?

Word Study:

Κύριος, kýrios – properly, a person exercising absolute ownership rights; lord (Lord).

What He said, you and I must do it as His servants and children if we call Him “Lord”.

What did our Lord say for us to do?

“Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.John 14:1

  1. Love God and Neighbor.

  1. Make disciples of all nations.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them ina the name of

the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey

everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age.”  Matthew 28:19-20

God the Holy Spirit, we beg You to help us do what the Lord Jesus says to us!

There are too many things we should do.  In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
