Another New Year Has Dawned!

King Solomon cries out with pessimistic view in Ecclesiastes 1:14;

“I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.”

King Solomon tried all things in his lifetime and found all of them vanity. He found his searches after knowledge weariness, not only to the flesh, but to the mind. The more he saw of the works done under the sun, the more he saw their vanity.

He could neither gain that satisfaction to himself, nor do that good to others, which he expected. Even the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom discovered man's wickedness and misery; so that the more he knew, the more he saw cause to lament and mourn.

Let us learn to hate and fear sin, the cause of all this vanity and misery in order to seek rest in the knowledge, love, and service of Jesus Christ , our God and Savior.

Having said so as above, our life must go on until the King of kings comes and restore everything back in perfect order and right place to be.

Let’s continue to pursue what we are doing now - worshiping God, working for family, studying hard for future prosperity, servicing to others with toil and labor.

Everything done for the glory of God in the beautiful Name of Jesus will never be meaningless, but will be rewarded when He returns.

Here is the promise of the Word of God in Revelation 21:4;

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their (=your, my, our) eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

 Amen and amen.

Happy and Prosperous New Year!
