The Bible makes a clear distinction between the sacred things of GOD and things of human especially when it comes to worship of HIM.
The occasion defines which things we need to choose.
When we are going out to dump garbage we are not dressed in a clean, white and shining dress. I wouldn't wear T-shirts, shorts and sandals if I go to the White House to meet the president of the USA at his oval office.
Also the purpose of using things defines whether sacred or secular. There are sacred things set apart for our Great GOD and secular things for human use. It doesn't necessarily mean that human things are all unclean if we rightly use them.
The bread and butter on the dining table set by mom to feed her family is sacred because it is to the Glory of GOD to well take care of family. However if food is offered to the deceased, idols, demons, then the Bible condemns to be unclean.
The water used for baptismal ceremony and oil for healing by laying hands is sacred but muddy water to wash the blood of dead body and rubbing oil for sensual arousal is unclean for any sense.
How about us?
We are called "saints" because GOD Saved and Set Apart us for HIS Purpose. That's the reason HE Says,
"Be Holy Because I AM HOLY."
Amen and amen.
